If you can manage, take the BlockHead Challenge!

As I may have mentioned once before,
And if not then now you'll know the score,
I like poetry then and now and ever more.
A good poem from the heart is never a bore!

So I challenge you and him and her over there,
Come write a poem like me out of thin air,
Make it up right on the spot in your chair,
Go ahead and give it a try, if you truly dare!

Or if you don't have that kind of skill,
Share one written with your own free will,
Or share the poem you got from Uncle BIll,
Poetry can be as pretty as a daffodil!

Now I wager someone thinks this isn't ad-lib,
I'm willing to prove this isn't just a rib,
I'll comment on poems right out of the crib,
And also on poems that still need a bib!

(Your Turn!)

I've been challenged to write a poem,
and this is what I will show him.
I like this construction of art,
even though it's hard to start.

I wrote a poem when I was ten,
and never expected to ever win,
in a contest with lots of people,
even though I was very little.

It was a poem about my Dad and I,
and how we build a tree-house that felt very high.
I wrote about the different levels we built,
and how a few branches mad a couch that was tilt.

Even though that tree is in my past,
it's memories with me will forever last.
Not because of a tree, a house or limb,
but because my Dad loves me, and I love him.

For we both built on that tree, and we both would share,
the space, love and the memories we had there.
Even though I thought this poem wouldn't be much,
because once you start writing, don't expect just a touch.

Usually when I write from time to time,
it feels like a mountain I have to climb.
but apparently this is an exception you see,
because its easy when writing things you would agree.

So thank's for giving me this challenge to work on,
and using it to tell me that my creativeness isn't gone.
And to anyone else that decides to create one as well,
I say I hope your poem will be just as swell!

:D

If you never heard of TheAlexTDB,
Then it's a huge shame you see!
For he writes from the heart,
With an awesome start!
(He'll go down in history!)

Now who else will step up to bat?
Come on, I know where you're at!
You are just sitting right there,
Wondering if you should dare,
Yes! Yes! You are as brave as a cat!

I know that you have talent,
I know you can be valiant,
Show us you can be brilliant,
Write a poem, don't be defiant!

I think I'm being tortured
I don't know what to do
Because images dance
In my head
Of things that are really horrible

Could I have some advice
On how to handle this?
Because my head is spinning
And I don't think I'm winning
The battle against this Satan

Please help
I'm stuck
Could you please give me some advice?
That would
Be nice
Please post your comments below
Thank you

Satan is a big fat liar, no matter what he has to say!
He keeps on telling lies because of his numbered days.
He knows his time is limited by God's Personal Design,
And even though he knows the outcome, he won't resign.

Take heart, and take heed for this information is correct,
God has all the power, and Satan's has been checked!
God knows your heart and mind and everything else about you,
Satan can't read your mind, but can put things there to stew.

My advice to you is as simple as a change in your view,
Just constantly remember the power given unto you!
You totally have the power to ignore our mutual enemy,
By focusing deep within, and exorcise your Spirituality!

You already took a step in proclaiming to God's Church,
The need for some assistance to help your desperate lurch.
You know that one believer puts a thousand demons to flight,
And two make ten thousand vanish as well into the night.

So knowing that your plea was certainly heard by believers,
And Satan and his crew were defeated underachievers.
So do not give up hope, nor let faith vanish on this day,
For Christ is Risen, He's risen indeed, and He'll soon be on His way!
AMEN!

The video quality truly is not even worth bothering with, I know, but the sound comes out very well indeed.
This is a YouTube upload of mine I wrote about 8 or 9 years ago and uploaded 5 years ago. The poem is "My Tree", and yes once upon a time my internet name was "Aldente VonTino".
I hope you enjoy:

I still would like some of you to give poetry a try! I know there's talent out there, hiding under bushels, which should be out in the open!
Peace!

EDIT: (Don't know why the video isn't showing? I must have done something wrong? URL still works though...)

Im next for this huge test
if i fail ill make this quick
and not be a pest
grab your pick!

it started in a mine
with a chime
it wasn't divine

Steve had wondered in
and saw a mob
he broke his limb
it looked like a blob!

Steve saw the slime
And BAM
he got em in time
Hope this doesnt turn to spam!

Next a tell you in this rhyme
Bout a doe
and a slime
and next a cow!

i realize my time is up
its time to say bye bye!
*sips tea in a cup*
see you all later! *sigh*
