I'm looking forward to it. Hey, Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel doing some voice acting? Sounds like it might be worth a watch!

I find them quite tasty. Same with their Lays counterpart. Some flavors are better than others, but for the most part, they're pretty good.

Plenty! I'm using one of my favorite lines in my signature right now. Another one of my favorites is one where Calvin is ranting about how he doesn't need to go to school and that he is smart enough that he doesn't need to go in the first place. Hobbes then asks him how he managed to get to the bus stop with both legs down the same pant leg. Calvin's response: "I fell down a lot. ... WHY? What are you implying?!?"ArchAngel wrote:Any favorite C&H quotes or strips?
The Spaceman Spiff and Tracer Bullet sequences also were great. The writing was so witty, the pictures great, and even though the technology in the strip never advances far (no one is ever seen using a cell phone, and I don't think computers even appear), it still has an amazing timeless quality to it.
Such a great strip. Sigh... I wish I could remember where my compilations went. I wouldn't mind reading them again for the hundredth time.

That's practically a crime against humanity right there. Fortunately, there are places on the Internet where you can redeem yourself. Go there now. RIGHT NOW!Chozon1 wrote:I never read Calvin and Hobbes. -_-
The surface can be rather boring. Especially those places where there isn't any land in sight, and the skies are calm. Head down to the ocean bed, though and like they say, it's a whole new world....Chozon1 wrote:Exploring the Ocean?

You worked at least two Disney movies into that post. Awesome.

I have to admit that it was by accident. Reading your comment made me wonder "two movies? I thought I just referenced Little Mermaid... oh, wait... that was from Aladdin."Chozon1 wrote:You worked at least two Disney movies into that post. Awesome.
Ah well, I'll run with it. Thanks!
Oddly enough, I seldom experience this. I think a part of it is a rather pessimistic view I've been having lately towards any endeavor. I'm going to fail anyway, might as well just jump in... any more, I'm pleasantly surprised when I don't mess up completely.Chozon1 wrote:Nervousness?
Like, for example, referencing two Disney movies purely by accident.

Oh! You mean from an independent developer? I thought you meant... never mind.
I've always been a fan of the games that Spiderweb Software has made. They are revamping the Exile / Avernum series again, and I think the new series is probably the best ones they've done yet. Here is a link to the Avernum revamp on Steam.
