Well, considering the death star is about $850,000,000,000,000,000 I'd say the enterprise (enterprice? lol) Kind of pales in comparison.

He made a bad assumption: That the Enterprise would be built piecemeal on the ground, transported into orbit in pieces, and assembled there. The movie clearly shows the ship being assembled wholly on the ground, so the costs of getting it into orbit using payload carrying launch vehicles shouldn't be included since the ship launches itself.

Well, considering they are trying to do an estimate with current technology, it's really the only way. We have no way of delivering a payload or vehicle that large into orbit.
