Mod Note: Made this a sticky..

Hi,
I have seen many posts here about people that don't know how to add an image in their signature.
So I decided to post a tutorial teaching how.
Ok, so lets begin.

First, you need to find a picture you want. Just browse the web until you find a picture you want, then, when you have found it, you need to get the URL of the image you want, to do that, just right click on the image, and press on Copy Image Location. Like so:
Image
To do this in Internet Explorer, Instead of pressing Copy Image Location, press on Properties, then Copy the text where it says Adress (URL):

Second, go on CCGR.org, and press on the My Account button at the top of the page.
Then, press on the My Info button, it looks like this:
Image

Then, after you press that, scroll down the page, until you get to somewhere where it says, Signature.
Image
Where it says Signature, type Image
It should look like this:

Code: Select all

Then scroll down just a little, and press Save Changes, and your done!

If you followed the tutorial, and did each step, then it should work.
Sometimes it does'nt work even if you followed all the steps exactly, to get it to work, either Email, or PM ccgr, and ask her NICELY to see if she can fix it and supply the URL to the image.

Well, hope this helps someone out!

Hmmm..... Well I wrote the and it still didn't work. I'll try again. If it doesn't work after that should I PM ccgr?

Make sure there aren't spaces between the tags and the image URL.

Example:

[img] http://

or

.jpg [/img]

like this, because that can mess it up.

I just noticed what I was doing wrong! I was writing / instead of \. No wait, the other one is right! CONFUSION! I don't have spaces in them.

Which is correct? I did all the steps and it didn't work. I used both / and \ and both didn't work. I checked the always attach my signature thing and it didn't work. Should I just PM ccgr?
