I think this is a good shooter for those who like games that are not totally ridiculous.

Ah Metroid Prime 3.... Good times. This game was awesome, and was a great rap up to a great trilogy.

I remember buying Metroid Prime Trilogy right before it went out of print, and then finding out that it's a collectors item.

Excellent trilogy. One of the very few FPS that I enjoy.

I got the Metroid Trilogy game as well. (I kinda wish I got a second one, just to resale. :P )

I must say though, I loved the first game in the trilogy the most.
I am not sure if it's from memories, (With it being my first GameCube game.)
but I can just keep replaying that game over and over again.

I also liked the second game, though I admit I have not beaten it yet.
(Those hidden keys were well hidden, though I should really try to finish that game sometime, and then replay it. :P )

The third game was good, though it just wasn't the same.

Well, if you ever want to try the Metroid Prime series.
I suggest getting the re-release of the first Metroid Prime for the Wii first.

Love the series. <3

Though for me, the third one felt more like an FPS than typical Metroid adventure. And none of the 3D iterations have been able to recapture the glorious feel of Super Metroid.

I still loved the Corruption though; make no mistake. I loved it more than pants.

Super Metroid is definitely one of those "must plays." It's probably the best game in the Metroid series, with the first Metroid Prime coming in a close second.

Wait, you made a topic suggesting Metroid, without actually playing any Metroid? Alright. haha

Anyway, my favorite Metroid is Fusion. So much love for that game. And, basically whatever Chozon says, I agree with him. :P

Oh captain Phe. O_o I totally forgot about Fusion. If ever there was a game coming close to the shimmering glory of Super, it was Fusion.

See? I agree with this, I could just never get all the way through Super. haha

Oh man, you should. The final battle against Mother Brain? BEST. BOSS FIGHT. EVER. If anything else, it's worth going through the game just to play that one fight over and over and over... (and yes, I have. :) )

I think it has. When you roll into a ball, you move through pipes. It's like Sonic Generations where it switches between 2D and 3D.
