I know we are on computers and are all talking about strategy computer games. But how about we list the strategy board games, we love and hate?

I'll start:

I love, "Settlers of Catan". l hate, "Monopoly".

Risk. Oh Risk...I have yet to play a strategy board game as fun as Risk.

Though I love me some Catan.

I think they really need to make more strategy board games... I LOVE board games, but I want to see some board games with a little more to them. Things like "Mouse trap", and other board games for kids get tiresome way too quickly. I want something you can really get into. Things like Risk... but I think there's so much potential in board games that just hasn't come to fruition.

"Ticket To Ride", "Neuroshima Hex" and "Caylus" are my most played. Though I have to be honest and say I play these on the iPad. Haven't played "Caylus" in quite some time. Once in awhile we'll take out our Blokus game and play as a family.

There are so many board games that I love that it's hard for me to pick a single favorite.

Chess and Settlers of Catan are two of my favorites.

I don't think I've found a board game that I don't like, but when I do I'll update this.

Settlers of Catan is good one, as stated before. XD
I also love me a game of Checkers and Shogi. (Ah if only Shogi was more well known in the west. XD)
Be part of the answer, not part of the problem.
