Bethesda changed the Fallout website. Less than 24 hours!

Current info involves scraping info from the web site.

In the source is the following message:
PA system failure has occured.
Shutdown of the Masterbrain has been authorized and all sensitive materials have been removed for security purposes.
Please attempt re-access. Have a pleasant day.
There's a JavaScript file named "57601643.institute.js". The Institute refers to MIT in the Fallout universe, so maybe this new game takes place in the Commonwealth (The Boston area)?

I also made a (in my mind, clever) post about it in Gaming news.

DISCUSS.

Woohoo! I guess I'll have to get a current gen system soon.

I actually got sort of a pre-preview of this. I was hit by a car two or three weeks ago, and one of the people I talked to while going through all the EMS stuff knew a guy who knew a guy who worked for Bethesda, and he said they'd be announcing this soon. It almost made the whole ordeal worth it.

Cool... looks like Beth took inspiration from 'The Settler' and "Real Time Settler' mods for Fallout 3 and New Vegas respectively.

We're going to be able to salvage stuff from the environment and not only build our own home but even create a new settlement.

I still need to beat Fallout 3...slowly working on New Vegas's various sidequests and DLCs when I can, just about the only thing I don't like about it is how slow you walk everywhere.
