You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I'm not a PC gamer. The games take mad long to load, the controls are not comfortable for my fingers, and the screen resolutions are not that interesting to me.

I think PC gamers are sort of like the hipsters of the gaming world.

Everybody has their hipster side, and PC gaming is definitely mine. My xbox ends up streaming more shows than anything, by far. I almost always choose my PC over it. Just a far better gaming experience.
(Not to mention the controls are way better. Not opinion this time; it's science)

Here's an example, for you doubting Thomases.ArchAngel wrote:(Not to mention the controls are way better. Not opinion this time; it's science)
Landing a headshot with a keyboard and mouse is an art form. Anyone can do it, with a super small amount of practice.
Landing a headshot with a gamepad is blind luck. The amount of precision that is offered to you is minuscule comparatively.
Now, I know what some of you are thinking. "But what about platformers? Or other games that are designed with a gamepad in mind?"
Well, the beauty of a PC is that you get the best of both worlds. Want to use a kb/m? Go for it, it comes with the computer. Want a gamepad? It's cheaper than getting one for your 'box.

But all that said, yes PC gamers can be stuck up. I actually wouldn't use the word hipster here. I'd say elitist. Just go into a PC gaming forum to see what I mean. The amount of trash talk makes political adverts look like Victorian English. It's shameful, really. While the control argument actually has merit, some of their points of contention are stupid...

Fist pound it, Deep.
But yeah, we can be stuck up. I do hold console gamers to be a lower form of gamer.
Just a step up from those madden kids.
What I will fully grant to consoles, however, is party gaming. Whether if it's with friend on a Genesis, a bunch of buddies over a PS3 or a family around a Wii; gaming together on consoles is good fun.
On the other hand, you guys miss out on so many great, great genres and games.
But in all seriousness, we're all gamers and we love what we do. Doesn't matter if xbox or ps3, snes or genesis, consoles or pc.
If anything, I recommend trying to play more PC games and you'll find a whole new slew of games to enjoy.

While I mostly agree, I'd have to say that getting a headshot with a gamepad is not just blind luck. My little bro gets a gazillion headshots while playing CoD on the 'Box, and I .... well... don't. He's just got mad skill. On the PC, though, I'ma beast.Deepfreeze32 wrote:

ANYWAYS.
We're totally derailing this thread.
So. Erm. Diablo 3. Looks cool. I waited a long time for it and... hm. I guess I'm gonna wait 'til the price drops before I pick it up.

Prices for Blizzard games don't drop by much.
It's been about 2 years and Starcraft 2 is still at around $50.
You'd really have to wait for a battlechest to come out to get a cheap price.
If you want it enough, you just have to go and get it.
Or, if you're not so intent on it, use that money on the impending Steam summer sale and get like 10 games.

Well, I'm not super intent on it, as there are other things I've got my eye on. Ha, I love summer sales; unfortunately, I'm not gonna be around this summer to play games. XD
