Except for you, you know, higher quality licenses, larger fan base, and better core gameplay mechanics.

Fan base- yes. Higher quality- Yes. Core game mechanics- HECK NO.

Played both games. Sure a couple of flaws here and there, but SONIC AND SEGA ALL-STARS RACING HAS BETTER GAMEPLAY MECHANICS.

Don't believe me?

Now imagine what this will be like.

This game just does a bunch of things Mario Kart just doesn't do, man.

Dude, unless you've played the game you can't say anything. Even if you have, unless you get the whole story instead of pounding it with criticism you will never enjoy it.

Well, I have played the first Sega All-Star racing and it's a rather mediocre racing game. I enjoyed my time playing with my brother, but I wouldn't spend a cent on it. I prefer the Speed Racer game to it.
Transformed doesn't look a whole lot different.

Anyhow, DMR, I got to say, there's something I like about you. You get so excited about these mediocre games, I feel like once we show you some of the really good ones, your world is going to be blown.

Maybe, but please understand- I see the hidden potential in some games. This is one of them.

Even the reviews I posted up here show that. At least give this game a try and see if it's better than the first.

I plan to.

And I think the Wii U version will be even more interesting.

Well, talk about "hidden potential" is a bit of a misnomer. Is there enjoyable aspects to mediocre games? Yes. Like I said, I enjoyed racing with my brother, but in comparison to all the other racing games I played, this doesn't rank high in aesthetics and mechanics.

It doesn't mean you don't have to like it, and honestly, we give you trouble for it because how excitable you get about it.
My two favorite racing games are LEGO Racers and Combat Cars, both of which are not very critically acclaimed and certainly aren't serious racing games, but I know what I like about them and that's that. I'm not posting 20 videos on the Combat Cars soundtrack (which is super sweet, if I dare say) and I don't get frustrated if people aren't with me on it. If someone likes it with me, fantastic! If not, oh well.

If you just be a little more chill about the games, you'll find people a lot of more accepting of preference of games. For the rest of us, it seems like you can't deal with us not sharing the same likes as you. And it's kind of funny when you get put out.

Hmmph. Well, you got a point. And you don't have to be with it. But I hate it when stuff like this don't get enough recognition. It's fun. It's fast. What more do you want in a kart racer? Graphics are cool, the mechanics work. The game has flaws, true. But it's fun.

Also, I really don't have anybody who has played the same games as I have except Krytae with LBP 2.

Is that why?

We all intersect on certain games. I listed out before a large number of the sonic games that I have tried and even own, and you liked many of them. I don't find the new ones very good, but I still have tried them and hoped they would be good.

If you want to share with us games that you enjoy, that's cool. In fact, it's more than just cool, it's good that you do. Sometimes we'll pick up on it, and sometimes we won't. You don't have to stand as a champion for these game, we're all just gamers sharing the games we like. Maybe be a little less defensive if we don't like the same games as you.

As for Transformed, my little brother will probably be getting it and I'll try it with him. Who knows, I might even like the land/sea/air aspect of it. Maybe I won't. But either way, I still think it's weird that Sonic is driving a car, but it'll still probably be better than Sonic R.
