I've been enjoying the game, I have Omega Ruby. Finished most of the story part, mostly down to collecting pokemon and training them now.

Oh nice, I got a shiny Rayquaza through a promo card, haven't leveled it much yet though.

Did you have Omega or Alpha?

We don't have 'em in Australia. They're currently running a Transformers: Robots in Disguise toy set.

I have Alpha Sapphire and LOVE the updated graphics on it! They did a really great job with the animation during the battles.

I am considering getting one of these games. What are the main differences between them? Also, I don't have much experience in the pokemon series.

If I'm not mistaken the games are generally the same with different Pokemon exclusive to each of them

Very slight variations in the plot too.
