Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

Pretty much. Been "clean" for almost a year now, it's really hard to resist the call of Civilization 6 though...

I've been deliberately avoiding that phrase/trend because I have more important things to worry about then what it actually means. XD

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

Ever heard of or played Civilization 5? I have put way too much time into Civilization 5. XD I just don't understand the mind set, I 'spose. Bungie hasn't done anything underhanded or shifty. Even the EXP thing wasn't anything more than them giving people what they wanted, in giving them more grind...

Re: Behold, the body of Adonis and the brain of a squirrel.

I wish my management stories were that amusing. My experience with management is a QA manager who falsifies defects, an engineering manager who expects the world of me and refuses to help me attain it and then belittles me in front of others for not delivering, and division leads with their heads in...

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

That would be a great trip! Turn based games? They can be fun, provided the flow of the game is quick enough. I like being able to think about things, but having to spend a ton of time waiting for things is really obnoxious. So there's a guy in my Destiny 2 clan who is constantly complaining about ...

Re: Behold, the body of Adonis and the brain of a squirrel.

I guess my problem is I don't like overly-large clothing, so I'm pickier about sizing. XD

Incompetent management is the worst?

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

Programming a small wrist device to play several different songs or sound bites to play in the event X situation arises, to provide humor or escape? Sounds like the sort of thing you would do. XD Your ideal vacation? (Money and time being no issue) Good question. I think if money and time are in fa...

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

Well, worst depends on the definition. Worst tasting: Diet Mountain Dew. Dear lord why. Why does this soft drink exist. Mountain Dew is already kind of low on my "favorite soda" list and the diet version is somehow just plain nasty. It is inexplicably disgusting Worst effect: Long Island Iced Tea. I...

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

Sparkling water is not a bad bet, but I often go for a diet version of soda (Despite Texas heritage, I call soda soda, not Coke. Only Coke is Coke). Coke Zero (technically Coke Zero Sugar, but meh...) is a pretty decent substitute for the "real" thing. Pepsi Zero Sugar (formerly known as Pepsi Max) ...

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

I'm gonna say tots, but mostly because I like the "easy to pop in your mouth" size. Fries are good, but I like being able to not have to fold or bite into my food to get in my mouth.

Re: Behold, the body of Adonis and the brain of a squirrel.

I can definitely see the hit/miss thing, and I wish I had known more about it before getting into it.

So Monster Hunter World comes out today. You in?

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

Educational. Thank you. I will agree that southern hospitality is stupid and in my opinion it is non-existent. I lived in TN for four years and I was only ever invited over to someones house once, and it was in the first two months of living there. After that, I had to do the inviting or I had to g...

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

What an intense answer... Please expound on your reasons for such strong animosity towards the Lone Star State? Ok, so, this will get a tad political at points so bear with me here. I'm not really looking to debate, I'm just sharing my experiences. Also, this is super long, so... First, let's talk ...

Re: Behold, the body of Adonis and the brain of a squirrel.

Yeah, I feel you on Resident Evil. For me, it was mostly hearing the hype of Resident Evil 4, and then actually playing it and realizing I hate the controls something fierce. The first three Resident Evil games managed to make it kind of work because you had a better situational camera to counteract...

Re: Ask a Question, Get Deep!

Summer camps. Yea or nay? I have nothing against the concept, but I also have nothing but horrible memories of summer camps in Texas. Because Texas. And I hate Texas. XD Ehhh, if I'm being honest, I'm not really a fan of bodily function jokes. I want you to know that the amount of poop-based one li...
