Re: Ken Ham to debate Bill Nye on creationism

Hugh Ross chimed in on the debate and he makes some pretty good points

Very interesting. I totally know what he means, there was some kind of "disconnect" in the debate.

Favorite author?
I don't really read fiction books, but for his insight into politics and certain aspects of life I'd go with Aristotle. I also love Dan Pinchbeck's work in "Dear Esther", the writing is phenomenal.

Re: Ask Wilpanzer

Are you Swiss?
Nope. Been in South Africa all my life.
How is the weather by you?
It's summer time here. That means that it gets pretty hot with rainstorms now and then. It can get anywhere from 86 F up during the summer.

Re: Pope Francis's "The Joy of the Gospel".

To be honest, I don't really know what to think of it as unlike American Protestants and European Protestants we've(South Africa) almost been completely cut off from the Protestant vs Catholic debate. 90% of people here with European heritage were excommunicated by both Catholic and Protestant churc...

Ghost Recon Future Soldier

So I got GRFS about 3 days ago, and it's something else. I thoroughly enjoyed the modernization of the Splinter Cell series with SC Conviction, but to go from GRAW to GRFS in such a big leap seems a bit strange to me. Ghost Recon has always been about a semi-realistic FPS experience for me. Its game...

Re: Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield

I remember the soundtracks of these games. Always very epic. I met my end with R6 with Swat though. I was a Swat addict for some time.

On a side note. It's also worth the while taking a shot at Vegas 1 and 2, AWESOMELY great coop gameplay there.

Re: Arma2 Mod - DayZ

Haven't played it yet, but I'm an Arma 2 fan nevertheless. The game as I understand is still in a WIP state, so I think we can expect a lot more good ratings. I would say go for it. Having watched a lot of Z gameplay movies I think it's one very dynamically addictive game. Also worth getting buddies...

Re: Dawn of War

I'm a casual gamer when it comes to Dawn of War. Haven't spent a lot of time on it, but I can say that I was a bit disappointed with the original Dawn of War 2. DoW 1 wasn't exactly non-linear, but if offered a freely approachable campaign map - which DoW 2 doesn't offer. I guess for someone new to ...

Epic songs you don't hear every day

I've listened to this one thousands of times. Gets to me every time.

Random and awesome. The keyboard solo reminds me of my bed time.

I watched S2Ep9 today

I have a few more, but I'll stick to these for the day
