Re: Something I'd like to get into :P

Was raised Calvinist-Lutheran. It's quite an interesting mix of doctrine. As far as I know I haven't changed dominations. However, as Paul said in Galatians, the gospel is the most important...so as long as other Christians believe in the gospel I consider them brothers/sisters in Christ.

Re: Baker forced to make cakes for gay couples

I had forgotten that we had a few members from South Africa here. I had also forgotten (obviously) about the history of Great Britain and India. Thanks for bringing that up and your own perspectives! :) Do you think there have been any instances of a nation achieving some form of racial/ethnic/cult...

Re: Baker forced to make cakes for gay couples

This is getting away from the topic significantly, but I wonder if there have ever been any studies done on the degree(s) of racism between countries that did attempt segregation by legislation (e.g. the U.S., South Africa) and those that didn't (I'm not sure, but I think Great Britain would fall i...

Re: Baker forced to make cakes for gay couples

There's a reason why my main philosophy to life is "people are idiots." That's a bad philosophy. I agree. But sometimes it's the only explanation I have for things that I see happening in the world. You are correct. People are inherently, bad natured. Why? Well the answer is simple: Adam and Eve. S...

Re: Misunderstandings of evolution--from a theistic perspect

Personally I find theistic evolution to be a bit contradictory. A Christian would believe that it was due to the infractions of Adam and Eve that the world was thrown into death and decay. In theistic evolution animal came before man so it would mean that there already was death and decay before Ada...

Re: Buddhism

I believe in the Holy Spirit, so also practising a select few parts of Buddhism to compliment my faith would be a great redundancy.

Looking back I can't believe I spent a lot of days on its single player. The AI was really incompetent, but the overall freedom and choice of weaponry kept me coming back for more.

Tropico 5

What do you guys think?

I enjoyed both Tropico 3 and 4 so I recently decided to pick up T5. It's not bad, but it isn't great either. The political satire is amusing though.

Angry Birds Go

If you like F1, Codemasters did a pretty decent job with the latest F1 releases.
