Cult Classic Video Game EARTHWORM JIM finally gets a comic book!

Doug TenNapel-- primary artist and mind behind the classic '90s video games Earthworm Jim 1 & 2, as well as outspoken Christian (which has gotten him unfortunately blacklisted from many mainstream gaming sites)-- has gotten the rights back to his most popular character, and is currently running an I...

Re: Last Game You Beat

Finished on the PS3 a few days ago Darksiders II, a kind of twisted version of Biblical Apocalypse. The first game you played as War, this time you play as Death. Before the 1st game I was a little leery going in, but they keep it far enough away from the Bible that it's not heretical or anything, t...

Re: Whatcha reading???

I'm currently reading "Darwin's Doubt", by Stephen C. Meyer. A really cool debunking of traditional Darwinian evolution, though he gets a bit too "lost in the details" sometimes with unexplained complex terms that make it a bit hard to follow.

Re: No more Converse for me

I usually wear New Balance (I don't think I've ever bought a Converse shoe), but yeah. This is so sad and screwing up so many kids. (I think the percentage of "Transgender" individuals is up from 0.1% to 2% over just 10 years because all this propaganda keeps messing up kids more and more.) Unfortun...

Re: Whatcha reading???

Now I'm reading "Bears Want to Kill You" by Ethan Nicolle-- a book I helped edit and backed on Kickstarter, so yes, I absolutely love it. It's hilarious. (There are no aliens. Bears killed them all. It wasn't a snake in the Garden of Eden that tricked Eve, it was a bear in the bushes with a sock pup...

Re: Last Game You Beat

I finished Geneforge 2 on the PC, an RPG indie game with mid-90s graphics and little sound/music but a solid story and good combat. Sometimes things got a bit TOO hard even on easy, but in generally I quite like this series am interested to see where it's going.

Re: Whatcha reading???

I'm reading "Nicolae", the third of the Left Behind books. This is the most interesting one so far, there aren't any "down" moments, it's a pretty fascinating book.

Re: Prayers for some Friends

As was now expected, he passed today. Pray especially hard for his wife Diana, and his youngest son who is a senior in high school and now has to deal with his dad dying in addition to all the usual stresses of transitioning from high school to college soon.

Re: Last Game You Beat

I recently finished Iron Brigade on the PC, a mixture of a 3rd-person shooter and tower defense where you play a mobile trench with mech legs and fire back and incoming hordes of alien-like mechanical lizards that are subservients of "The Broadcast". It's pretty absurd/funny, as is usual with a Doub...

Re: Prayers for some Friends

They lifted the sedatives, but he never woke up, so they took him to be scanned by an MRI machine. I don't know all the minor details, but there is... very little-to-no brain activity. He has been transferred to hospice, it's just a matter of days now. Please continue to keep this poor family (the W...
